Wednesday Social, Fire & Ice: Adult Social Sailing is open to all members and is held every Wednesday evening during the sailing season. It’s an opportunity to get out on the water whether you are a seasoned sailor or want to get on a boat to see what it’s all about. We have experienced sailors who volunteer as mentors to provide instructions to new sailors. We meet on the deck at 4:00 pm to go over the conditions before our Dockmaster assigns boats. Everyone must wear a PFD and closed toe rubber soled shoes. Capri 14.2’s are then rigged and start leaving the dock at 4:30 pm along with member owned Beetle Cats and Marshall Cats. We usually have a 2nd sail around 5:30 pm. The evening is about a social group sailing activity while making new friends. Fire & Ice starts at 5:00 pm.
Keep in touch, all BRYC members are invited and welcome!!
