Private lessons on club boats or private boats are available with a BRSS (US Sailing) instructor and can be arranged through the sailing school office. Please contact Mark Ahern at info@bassriveryachtclub.org.

Extend the day with Tennis lessons at the South Yarmouth Tennis Club (SYTC) – Our neighbors and friends at the nearby SYTC have coordinated their junior tennis instruction to coordinate with our sailing program. Group tennis lessons for juniors are available at the SYTC from 1-2pm (beginner) and from 6-7:30pm (advanced). Sailors participating in tennis will be escorted (walking or biking) to the SYTC by a sailing school coach after a supervised lunch arriving in time for the 1pm lesson. Parents can therefore drop off children at the sailing school for the 8:30am start and collect them from the tennis courts at 2pm. Details and information on tennis is available at:  www.southyarmouthtennisclub.com.

Adaptive Sailing – We are proud to support Sail Cape Cod, a non-profit Community Sailing Program whose mission is to improve the quality of life in the community through sailing for people of all ages, socio-economic backgrounds, and physical and developmental abilities. Sail Cape Cod offers a range of sailing classes providing ‘Access to All without Limitations’ regardless of the sailor’s physical, cognitive, or economic ability and to ensure that every individual is able to share in the idyllic Cape Cod activity of sailing, whether they are living on the Cape or visiting from around the world.
